Dec 19, 2006: Important! Final is on Dec 18, 9:00AM-12:PM(Monday). It is a closed book exam. However, you are allowed to have 2 double-sided pages of cheat sheet. Please make good use of the cheat sheet, and have a good review time.
Nov 20, 2006: Midterm 2 is due before thanksgiving break. To reduce your workload, there is NO more project after thanksgiving break. There will be only one more homework left. However, you can use the last two weeks to make up your previous assignments, specially project 3. For senior students, this will release some of your time to work on your thesis proposal.
Nov 02, 2006: Lab7(HW3 and PS3)(transportation layer) is due on Nov 13. We will have one more Ethereal lab,one more programming assignment, and two more written homeworks. Please check the updated schedule in syllabus page. The midterm 2 will be take-home exam before thanksgiving break, from Nov 16(12:30pm) to Nov 20(2:30pm).
Oct 17, 2006: Due to the lab is closed these two days, the deadline of Lab 3 (Programming Assignment 2- Multithreaded Web Server) is extended again to next Monday, Oct 23. This is the final deadline, and no execuse will be accepted.
Oct 2, 2006: Lab 4 (Ethereal lab -TCP) is due on next Thursday (Oct 12, 06). Lab 3 (Programming Assignment 2- Multithreaded Web Server) is due at the beginning of the class on Oct 19 (firm deadline, no any further extension). On next Tuesday (Oct 9), we will assign Lab 4(Programming assignment 3) which will be due on Oct 30. We will not have lab on Oct 16 due to the break.
Oct 2, 2006: On next Thursday (Oct 12), we will have a midterm which includes the first three Chapters.
