Computer Science 290 Fall 2004

Welcome! This is the main web site for Computer Science 290, Principles of Software Development, Fall 2004. This web site will include our course schedule and links to all of the laboratory assignments. Furthermore, students will use this site to post responses to homework assignments. During laboratory assignments and the final projects, groups will use the collaboration facilities to record their experiences.

If you are a student in this course, make sure that you use the Course Register to as a starting point to make a course page that describes yourself. When you complete work for the course in laboratory notebooks or in homework responses, make sure you sign your name. This will make it easier for readers of your responses to determine who crafted the response. Instructor Kapfhammer

Course Announcements includes important information. Please check this page often!

Course Syllabus includes details about the Instructor's office hours, the text book, and other important information.

Class Schedule includes a listing of all the articles that will be read during the semester. This material is broken into specific subject areas and then this is further broken into specific articles with direct links to homework assignments. The homework assignments are embedded inside of this schedule!

Laboratory Tutorial Listing includes a pointer to each of the laboratory assignments. This also includes a location for each student to post their laboratory notebooks and a collaborative discussion area for the entire class.

Long Term Project includes all of the details about the system that we are going to collaboratively build for half of the semester. Please use these pages to produce all documentation and notes about the long-term project.
